fully utilized Baucer Buku 1Malaysia and bought these books.. Thank you goverment :p

my text books cost a lot moreeeeeeee than RM200 voucher, normally i photocopy it or buy the textbooks if they are on sale at our koperasi..yes im chepaskate like that!

Alhamdulilah i get yearly book allowance by MOHE, that allowance used to buy textbook and this voucher used to add the compilation of my story books :)

can't wait to read them all!

but let's face it..i have tonne of journal articles to be read, with deadlines are approaching

let's put all of these aside and welcome back to student life T___T, reading scientific journals *BIG yawn*

Al-Tanoor Pavillion KL

this is second time having lunch here, Pavillion can be so crowded with people and i dunno where to eat

went to Al-Tanoor becuase that's the only restaurant not suffocated with too many customers and the restaurant is cosy

i've tried their lamb burger (couldn't remember exact name) before, but my mom and I were so hungry at that time, we decide to order rice-based menu (^__^)

from top left: side dish (potatoes & garlics), Philadapheia Lamb, Makhlouba rice with chicken gravy

the Makhlouba rice was yummy but the chicken gravy is not so good, the philadapheia lamb is ok but i prefer the lamb burger that i tasted before

overall: satisfied with their service & menu ... tapi takde la sampai sedap melampau! ok sajo hehe

Spent most of my free time thru reading story books...but sadly life is too busyyy and i do not have enough time to read

i'm stuck with boring stuff a.k.a scientific journal article T___T

6 more books to be read..and i can't wait to spend on RM200 voucher given by our goverment *thank you* Alhamdulillah

p/s: if combine both my sis & I vouchers, we will have RM400 to be spent on books *woot woot* i'm sure my sister wouldn't mind to share hehe

Pancake High Tea Buffet

went to weekend high tea buffet at Naza Talyya Hotel...as usual bought voucher thru groupon

this pancake high tea buffet is only RM16.90...totally worth every penny :)

there are also, pineaple fried rice, bihun goreng, ais cream, cheese cake & chocolate cake as dessert

the place is cozy with nice ambience, not too crowded! having a cafe next to sea is a bonus *wink*

Despite our seat facing shirtless hotel guest, hahaha but i did enjoyed the buffet..pancakes and maple syrup are so yummy taip entry ni pon still teringat-ingat lagi hehe

Straits Quay

After Whiteaways Arcade, the journey continue to Straits Quay..YES we are more poyo than tourists haha

the Straits Quay opened for public i guess in the middle of 2011..we haven't got a chance to do any 'inspection visit' back then...now everybody is super busy! finding a free slot for everyone is crazyyyyy -__-

oh Delicious restaurant juga ada *happy*

Hopefully by end of this year the shop lot will be fulled and more activities could be done here

Whiteaways Arcade

went to Whiteaways Arcade last monday. The 2 storey heritage building is located at Beach Street.

The building consists of boutique, cafe, art gallery & pharmacy. Since i came during public holiday, most of the shop is still closed T__T

the beach street is close for any vehicle during weekend, nothing much could be done here, but if you enjoy photography, here's one of the nice place for photoshoot (^__^)

my schedule is super packed this week, spent day & night at lab huhu wish this could end soon!

kebetulan masa aku balik kl last weekend, dpt sms from Pn Norita bgtau dia da selamat bersalin dekat PPUM

received an sms at 8am on saturday morning..mula-mula mmg plan nk pegi ziarah on saturday tp tak sempat! dok sibuk melayan mak aku nk ke sana ke mari membeli brg la, pergi tailor lagi..serius byk tempat aku pegi sabtu lepas huhu

sampai rumah da petang...aku da mls nk drive ke PJ sana...tgg baby balik rumah je la

hari ahad petang br aku sempat pegi rumah Pn Norita tengok baby...aku mcm da tak ingat sgt da rumah die yg mana satu..ye la semua mcm look alike je rumah quarters ni hahaha main confident je bg salam

sekali org lain yg keluar..aku da saspen da sbb rse mcm salah rumah! aku kenal semua anak pn norita..ni sape pulak?? dia pandang aku blur..aku pndang dia blur..rupanya maid baru hahaha

bodoh tau aku rase haha ye la maid dia pon pandang je aku..bila aku ckp "ni rumah pn norita ke?" dia balas "oh puan ye?" mana la aku tau puan hang sapa..kot-kot salah rumah ke

maid ni memang kena bg training la kan? byk dieorg tak tau..nama boss pon belum tentu tau hahaha

1 Year as full time student

today marks one year i've been living and studying at Nibong Tebal, Penang.

it seems only yesterday i came here register as fresh postgraduate student...and now i'm one of the senior in the lab,

i used lab's refrigerator as it is my own , eat happily in the lab without even consider the smells of my food will make others hungry hahaha

i proudly say that i know this campus pretty well.. if u can remember i wrote an entry last year when i just registered as a student here.

of coz life here is absolutely different from what i've experienced in UM, eventhough culture of research in both universities is pretty much similar but of coz they have their own style,
here are the list of obvious differences that i observed:

• dekat USM ni all postgraduate got their own cubicle/space in postgraduate room. The room is separated from the lab.. but at UM averything is done in the same room! kat situ la your cubicle, situ jugak la student undergraduate buat lab...at one time lab can be suffocated with too many students (under/postgraduates)

• The internal grant is also available here, but i don't think the amount is as generous as what UM provides, :) UM tu lagi mewah duit aku rasa..

• in terms of management, i prefer UM style of handling issues, UM always acknowledge us in advance if there are any changes in current system/policies...but here ermm boleh tahan last minit la jugak they let us know..most of the system here is also not user-friendly

contoh:
kalau aku nak bayar yuran hostel, i have to pay at bursar, then bring the copy of the receipt to the hostel's office...they will photocopy the receipt for their record...bare in mind, the hostel's office and bursar are not located at the same building

if u failed to submit the receipt eventho u've paid the rent...they will consider u not paid..bangang tak sistem?walaupon dalam satu uni...depa tak boleh nak design sistem supaya bende ni semua buat online ja & connected to every department!!!

• campus here has sharers..they shared almost every current movies, tv series through ftp server..u can download it for free..bab ni mmg aku suke sgt hahaha ko ckp je nk cerita apa semua ada..english?malay?korea? bersepah sgtt!! sampai aku sendiri tak keep track berapa sharer yg ada, & cerita apa yg available..aku layan yg aku mmg follow da bertahun-tahun mcm How I Met Your Mother

• food price is here is cheaper than kl obviously hehe not just the food, household products are also cheaper..kalau aku balik kl drive, i'll bring back detergent/toiletries ..harga dia murah tak beringat kadang-kadang murah 4-5ringgit dr harga kat KL..best kan?

to those who don't know where the hell is Nibong Tebal, herewith i attached the map!

kalau tgk kat map ni...Nibong Tebal (Penang) bersebelahan je dgn Parit Buntar (Perak) dan dekat dengan Bandar Baharu (Kedah)...aku duduk bersempadan dengan 3 negeri..ko hado? hahaha

i'm not staying at island, Nibong tebal is at mainland specifically at south area of seberang jaya...45minutes to 1 hour drive to island

jadi sbnrnye aku lebih dekat ke Parit Buntar dari ke Pulau...tempat ni mmg kampung jugak hoho

aku ke pulau selalunya pun during weekend, walaupun kampung, tapi Alhamdulillah seronok juga kat sini

dari sorang-sorang kat sini..dtg gamble je takde kwn, after a year Alhamdullilah ramai juga kenalan baru :)

living here for a year (& counting) is self-achievemnt for me! You guys should congratulate because this is BIG!!! (^__^)

Weekend High Tea Buffet at Cafe Laurel Evergreen Hotel Penang

I spent my last sunday at Gurney Drive area specifically at Cafe Laurel, Evergreen Hotel enjoying a weekend High Tea Buffet.

me & my other 4 frens bought this groupon voucher a month ago

this is our second experience having buffet at this hotel..the first experience was last Ramadhan (^__^) both vouchers were bought from groupon

i've heard that this buffet is fully booked until end of this year/jannext year..luckily i managed to book tables almost 3 weeks before the actual date hehe there's no point of buying good coupon if u can't get in coz they are fully booked right?

potatoes made like cream puff haha cute kan?

this is my last round :p

the cafe is crowded this time..with all tables are occupied, pastu tah mana punya group tah buat event kat sana..MLM kot hahaha

half hour after we ate, there's a long queue nearby entrance..da mcam makan kat kantin pulak! Some typical Malaysians are too proud of making mess ... kalah budak-budak berterabur ambil nasi haihh why la people nowadays are so inconsiderate?? memang la ade tukang kemas, tapi tak boleh ke beradab sikit kalau ye pon lapar sgt??

other than that incident, this cafe served good service with variety of foods that u can choose from..there are sate, rojak buah, ABC, nasi& lauk pauk, cakes, ice cream, baked seafood, pasta, local fruits (including nangka hehe) & laksa

in luv with this batwing sheer shirt that i recently bought from nichii :p

we've tried their dinner & high tea buffets..will try other restaurant next time..da mcm duta tak berbayar pulak asyik makan sini je hehe

One step at a time

i'm super busy this week..

i thought i can sit back and relax while my supervisor is on leave for 4 days..but i was wrong!! totally wrong

my sv is super genius..he said he wanna meet me on friday..YES he purposely came on friday to see us all hahaha

my appointment with him was after Friday prayer... almost an hour discussion -__-

i immediately felt dizzy after the discussion, kerja makin bertambah...huhu my supervisor discussed it from different view than what i've been thinking before

he suggested many ideas & approaches that definetely 'top down thinking'..instead of doing it from different perspective >>> bottom up (that's what i currently doing)

i almost choked when he elaborated the task to fulfill the thesis writing requirement....oh MAN! he's already talking about thesis but i think my current progress is only about 10%

i've been thinking & brainstorming the idea in my head over and over again for more than 6 hours and i eventually vomit in the middle of the night!! rasa kan terus lembik T___T

i guess i overthinking it ..of course the task is difficult..im doing PhD now..what do i expect??

i should be doing it one step at a time, read thouroughly, and plan it wisely

Plan mengejut

Selasa lepas aku ke Hotel Naza Talyya, plan secara mengejut sbb Aimie stay kat sana, dia ada conference.

memang tak rancang pon, sbb masa Aimie sampai Penang, aku still kat hutan lagi haha

ber-ym dengan Aimie selasa pagi...trus plan nak pegi makan nasi kandar & aku tido sana sng tak yah nak drive balik Nibong Tebal malam-malam

petang lepas lab, aku trus pecut ke pulau, sbb takut lewat-lewat sgt nanti jem pulak

sampai sana dalam pukul 6 cmtu...solat kejap trus turun bwh ke pantai hehe saje je main-main air

hotel ni dekat area Tanjung Bungah..ni pon aku da rase cantik..tp dekat Batu Feringgi memang lagi cantik la

aku penah stay kat Batu Feringgi..sana pantai dia lagi bersih, angin lagi kuat :)

malam nya kami ke Jalan Penang..plan asal nak makan kat Nasi Kandar Line Clear...tp boleh pulak tutup..hampa betul, kat situ 2-3 mggu sekali dia akan ttp on tuesday -__-

trus cari Hameediyah pulak, main redah je pusing-pusing dengan salah masuk jalan nye hahaha nasib la jumpa jugak

lepas makan plan nak ke Batu Feringgi ronda-ronda kwsn situ tpi hujan lebat gilaaaaa.. terus cancel balik hotel..borak-borak kat bilik je

tau-tau aku da tertido hahaha

esoknya pagi trus balik ke Nibong Tebal...continue my life as a student (^__^)

Colloquium at Dusun Eco Resort

Last weekend aku menghabiskan masa di Dusun Eco Resort, attending colloquium organized School

i guess this time organizer 'terover kreatif' pergi anjurkan this colloquium dekat dalam hutan...YES u heard me right..mmg dalam hutan pon -__-

Dusun Eco Resort ni sbeenarnya training center..mmg sesuai utk buat team building, kem motivasi sekolah atau pon spe2 yg join palapes nk buat aktiviti lasak..memang sesuai pergi sini

tapi untuk tujuan colloquium/conference, present paper kat sini..i totally feel that this place is NOT SUITABLE AT ALL!

until now is till don't know what is the relevent deported all us form school to a place that i pretty sure is isolated from the main road..phone signal pon takde...celcom, maxis, digi apetah lagi!

motif sgt nak dera aku smpai ke sini kan diaorg ni?? da la aku tak kenal sesiapa..mmg la sv aku ikut & ade 2 org lagi budak lab, tapi tu semua lelaki! aku je la pmpuan yg dtg bwh sv aku..dkt dlm bas ade la lagi 2 org pmpuan melayu (bwh sv lain)...yg lain semua lelaki (majority international students)

semua perbelanjaaan di tanggung oleh school..itu la yg bgsnya..jd tak best pon ku gagahi jua..lagipon da sv suruh pegi nak kata apa lagi T__T

ade 6 buses dari usm pegi ke resort ni...punya la lama amek masa lebih 10jam nak smpai...byk sgt berhenti..serius sakit gila vontot duduk lama-lama

sampai resort ni da malam..aku terkejut gila bila smpai sana, mmg ade aku bce kat blog-blog yg pernah cerita pengalaman dieorg kat resort ni..katanya jalan nak masuk resort tu sempit....logik la kan sebab dalam hutan

tapi bila smpai sana..bas mmg kena stop kat bawah ade truck kecik (mcm lori) angkut kami sume naik atas..ade 2 trucks je..ko bygkan la bpe kali die ulang alik angkut kami semua yg dtg dgn 6 buses ni

hoh mmg mencabar la tak pernah hayat aku naik lori cmni..masa atas lori aku rse mcm lembu-lembu yg tggu nak kena sembelih je hahaha, da la malam die bwk pulak laju bkn main! mmg rase nak nangis je huhu

organizer tempatkan kami yg perempuan malay sume satu bilik..duduk dalam dorm haha ni mmg tak boleh bla la..kat asrama pon aku tak duduk double decker..dtg sini boleh pulak aku tdo kat double decker

double decker pon nyenyak gak aku tido haha...situ sejuk gila maklumla dalam hutan kan..mmg best la tido..air paip mcm sejuk mcm ais

kat sana la br berkenalan dengan roomates haha tp sekejap je terus ngam boleh berborak sakan mcm da kenal 10 tahun..dieorg semua best-best la :)

aku present on saturday, tp takde gambar sbb aku tertinggal kamera kat bilik, malas nk patah balik amek

ptg ade aktiviti flying fox & paintball..aku tak join either of them aku duduk bilik hahaha tak adventerous langsung kan? aku bwk baju cukup2 je..aku da dpt agak cnfirm kotor nye baju kalau buat aktivit lasak ni, baik tak payah join ....hehe mmg dasar pemalas kan?

sabtu malam ade BBQ dinner & lucky draw, budak-budak bilik aku ade 5 org dapat..aku hampeh nombor tak naik! mmg tak bertuah langsung! selalu mcm tu asal ade cabutan bertuah je cnfirm la aku tak dpt haha badi ape tah

cuba tengok...byk kan? semua tu barangan elektrik

menunggu truck utk angkut kami ke bwh *muke tak puas ati ade org nk potong queue naik truck* hahaha

aku rasa tempat ni kalau well maintained mmg lawa la sbb lokasi dia atas bukit mmg cantik..tpi kan dari apa yg aku perhatikan, mcm tak berjaga sgt tempat ni..

yela aku rse owner dia pon da sedap kan asal cuti sekolah je penuh org buat summer camp kat sini, mcm takde inisiatif nak improve kan facilities, mesti cantik gila & lagi ramai org dtg, nak naik kan rate pon org tak kesah sgt kalau facilities ok

ni dekat dewan dia tingkap pon ade yg pecah, rongak sana sini, tak kemas langsung...nmpak usang je semua..kalau dia jaga betul mmg lawa dewan dia, sbb dewan kayu cntik btul-btul bwh dewan tu ade sungai mengalir ..haihh syg je

kalau la aku kaya, aku beli resort ni aku make over semuanya bagi cantik betul-betul br puas hati

eh over lak!! mula-mula smpai nak nangis, sekarang nak beli pulak??? haha *pitam berdiri*

Random thoughts

2011 is almost ending hoho but there are still a lot to be done before end of this year. I even made plans for next year research activities....Harap semuanya berjalan lancar seperti yang dirancangkan InsyaAllah...kalau tak penat je aku merancangkan? huhu

Sejak duduk Nibong Tebal ni..aku susah sikit nak attend kenduri/gathering/event kat KL. I admit that i only attend selective kenduri/event etc..huhu minta maaf sgt-sgt spe yg menjemput aku tak dpt dtg..I usually used public transports (train/bus) if i'm too tired to drive..tapi bila guna public transport tu, aku kena pastikan ade org nak pick up aku kat stesen keretapi/bas...kat sini mane la ade public transport sgt, tak mcm KL ko smp pudu mlm-mlm pon ade LRT, bus..taxi pon bersepah. Kat Nibong Tebal ni jangan harap la, sbb tu kalau aku blk dr KL naik public transports aku pastikan aku smp sana tak la lewat sgt..sbb kesian org yg nk pick up aku kat stesen. Aku cuba sedaya upaya attend semua invitations yg aku dpt..tp mmg ade lah yg tak sempa attend huhu sorry kepada yg menjemput :(

I had buffet lunch last week with my lab member and my supervisor (a.k.a Smith) at Seoul Garden Gurney Plaza. Seperti biasa, perut aku mmg tak beradab makan bykkkkk gilaaa smp Smith pon terkejut tgk hahaha. Dia igt dia yg kuat makan padehalllll 'the trophy' belong to me...ala korang tau kan what 'trophy' haha *ok tak kelakar*

what i did when stress 'slapped' me hard!

i believed everybody have their own ways to deal with stress and perhaps try to reduce it as much as you can

being a full time research student is challenging.... i have to rely on my own to ensure everything is continously done as planned.I often stumbled across a situation where i can't work effectively while clock is ticking and deadlines are around the corner.

so in this entry post i would like to share what i normally did when 'this situation' occured...it might not work for everybody but at least i know it works for me :)

Read anything other than any scientific journals

sometimes when i feel helpless on what i currently did, i read anything that could help me from overthink my current problem

Quran, any story books and magazine will help to soothe and make me calm..my heart beat slower when i calm..therefore continue reading scientific journal will cause more harm than help :(

last-last tak siap jugak keja if i keep on denying myself that i am stressed

Do Physical Activities

i'm not a sport person who go to gym or jog regularly..but sometimes physical exercises do help me to reduce my stress level

if i too lazy to jog, i will clean up my room and rearrange my scientifc journals in files *it's pretty heavy ok*

thick journals arranged according to field *kalah librarian*

rearrange cloths in wardrobe also help! arrange it accroding to their lengths and colors.. sometimes i even ironed cloths in advance before new week starts haha padehal kat rumah punya liat nk menggosok!

terjengket2 menyusun baju sbb almari tinggi sgt *arranged according to lengths & colors* semangat (kembang hidung)

since i'm stayed in hostel nothing much i can do here..no tv & no astro etc.. i ony have my lappy that i'm too tired to use when i'm stressed out ...hence ironing can be one of the activity to kill stress T___T

Eat

This one works all the time..kalau aku tgh marah-marah..cuba ko ajak makan...confirm aku cool down haha

i enjoy good foods and i successfully gained weight here! problems seem to fade away while i eat haha

u can try at your own risk! jgn slhkan aku kalau berat naik hehe

talk to your good friends

not necessarily share everthing that u are currently deal with..sometimes we encounter problems that too private to be tell

tapi call kawan sekejap cakap benda-benda merepek pon means a lot to me.. BBM, twitter or fb with your close frens and family will help too and sometimes they motivate you without u realise it :)

talking about craps for hours will make u laugh..............and trust me u reallyyyyyyyyyy need that

My friend and I went to this Sushi King Card Bonanza yesterday. Many thanks to Dee for the info.

I spread the news to my frens that RM2 sushi during Sushi King Card bonanza is a 'top priority activity to do' in this November

I even spread the news thru my YM's status, and as expected my SV give a good response haha

but not to worry..aku tak pegi pon makan sushi dengan dia..my sv went to sushi king a day before dengan budak-budak lab aku yang lain (boys), diaorg ada ajak...but i decline politely sbb aku tak tau nk borak ape nanti..awkward kan?

i end up went to Sushi king on different day with my JJCM group here haha bukan main kan siap ada group makan-makan lagi kat sini

ko pegi belajar ke pegi makan???

ni separuh masa kedua..tak sempat amek gmbar separuh masa pertama *booo*

we managed to eat up to 34 plates (i guess)...worth every penny (^__^)

lepas terjumpa satu blog entry nasi padang ada kat Penang...aku ngn kawan aku memang teruja habis la...dulu masa 2008 aku pernah pegi bercuti kat Indonesia, memang masakan padang ni sedap-sedap terutama sambal ijau dia

semalam aku & geng JJCM pegi Transfer Road, Penang mencari Nasi Padang Minang dekat International Hotel ni..kami sampai pukul 11 pagi..orang pon tak ramai lagi

tapi nasib kami sampai awal..tuan kedai pon boleh melayan kami yg kalah pelancong dr oversea *cough*

nak dekat pukul 12 tu da start ramai yg dtg makan kat sini..lain sikit dengan konsep nasi padang yg ada kat Indonesia..dekat Indonesia..lauk-lauknya da ada atas meja berhidang...

yg dekat sini macam konsep ko makan kedai nasi campur..nak amek nasi dan lauk terus or boleh jugak makan berhidang

kami pilih makan berhidang..sebab kami berempat memang sesuai sgt la berhidang boleh rasa banyak lauk kan?

lauk-lauk yang kami pilih: ikan nyot-nyot masak lemak, daging dendeng salai, tempe dgn ikan bilis masak ijau sambal (ada petai), kentang +ikan bilis sambal, sambal ijau, ayam goreng, sayur bayam dengan nasi putih utk 4 orang

harga makanan ni tak termasuk air, RM44 murah kan? aku rasa murah la sebab ayam tu kami amek 2 ketul yg potong suku..daging lagi, ikan dapat harga kurang RM50..bagi aku da murah sgt la tu...da la tempat ni famous

jauh lg murah daripada satu kedai kat Parit Buntar ni....memang mahal mengalahkan KL pulak aku rasa..hari tu kawan aku amek nasi putih+ulam+ikan keli bakar+udang 2 ketul (saiz sederhana) kena sampai RM10.50

selalu makan kat Parit Buntar nak cecah RM6 pon payah, sekali kena harga mcm tu terus rasa nak boikot tak nak pegi lagi kedai tu

ramai jugak kawan-kawan yang datang meraikan konvo aku ni..seronok sangat-sangat

minggu lepas khamis pagi izzah buzz aku tnye free ke tak mlm..nak ajak keluar pegi karaoke

hahaha aku apa lagi tanpa berfikir panjang terus setuju

tambah pulak memang tengah serabut banyak keja..so i guess why not sing few songs to vent out stress! After long raya holiday, research works seem to pile up and do not seem to decelerate

so we went to this karaoke centre at Parit Buntar...to me this place is ok and the price is cheap..variety of malay songs but not many english songs available

it is only RM15 per hour for a small room that can fit 3-5 persons. We ( me, Izzah & Ikin) sang for 2 hours *yes we are poyo like that...we think we are superstars hehe*

lepas nyanyi bagai nak putus urat..we stop by our favourite mamak for roti pisang!

lepas balik dari cuti raya aku tak sempat lagi singgah makan kat sini..sampai pekerja die pon tanya...aku pegi mana lama sgt tak nampak haha

kat sini aku da tak tau nak makan apa..during lunch or dinner, me & ikin always having difficult time to decide which cafe/mamak we shud go...bosan asyik makan benda sama

im currently stay at hostel..self cook in room is not allowed..but many international students did so

but i refuse to cook inside my room....nanti berbau la..aku tak suka bilik semak..situ la nak masak situ la nak tido situ la ko letak pakaian

so please do not suggest i cook..peralatan memasak lengkap kat rumah tu pon aku malas ke dapur..ni kan pulak duduk hostel hahaha lambatttttttttt lagi la yek

Geng-geng aku kat sini decide nak buat pot luck jamuan raya ni masa 1st week raya tu..memang plan nak buat on public holiday, 16 September tu

for the last two years my family celebrated 1st day of raya at KL

but this year..we managed to celebrate raya with extended family at Kuantan..adik beradik mak aku semua ada kecuali Pak Lang aku & family

raya menu: Nasi impit, kuah kacang, rendang ayam, ketupat palas & nasi dagang <<< no rendang daging this time..semua stok sakit darah tinggi..jadi daging ~~diharamkan~~ dielakkan

life is pretty hectic before raya....i couldn't get enough time to blog during Ramadhan..tau-tau je da raya & buat entry wish selamat hari raya hehe

we stayed at Kuantan untul 3rd day of raya ...lepas tu balik Kl..sambung beraya kat KL pulak

Ramadhan di perantauan

Title tak bole bla kan?? Haha lantak ni first time aku puasa jauh dr family..bg la ku feel perantauan sikit

Sedar tak sedar da 2minggu puasa

Start puasa hari tu memang sibuk..bole pulak management hostel aku suruh pindah ke blok baru time Ramadhan ni

Memang sebelum ni da ada ura-ura management nk letak budak postgrad kat satu blok yg sama

Dari mula-mula aku masuk sini lagi aku dgr cerita nk kena pindah bulan 7

Tapi last-last tak jd ok! Kena pindah time puasa gak! Haiyoo

Da 7bulan aku dok kat sini barang pon da beranak-pinak..serius jd berlambak gile! Tah mana datang tah. -_-

Bila jd macam ni aku mula la pasang niat tak nak beli baju baru lagi <<< Ye la sgt kan??? Haha

Aku start angkat sikit-sikit siang tu..yela brg byk bag ade 2 je..kena la angkat berulang kali..pack brg kat bilik lama..pegi blok baru unpack pastu ulang blk angkut brg ke blok lama

Penat mcm nak mati je aku rase..selebihnya aku angkat malam lepas berbuka & terawih

2 hari jugak la aku tak pegi lab..pindah punya pasal!

Aku dapat single room..no roomate this time hehe..harga pon jadi mahal la dari dulu kan??

aku tak penah tau kewujudan kedai used book kat chowrasta road ni. sebab da beberapa kali pergi sana, tak penah nampak pon kedai buku

rupa-rupanya kedai tu dekat tingkat atas, tersorok sikit

bila sampai sana aku terkejut sangat-sangat sebab buku die GILA punya banyak wei!! not just used book i spotted brand new books, & some of it are from my favourite authors

semua jenis buku ada..buku sekolah, novel lama-lama, english novel, old magazines semua ada..mcm syurga buku la!

while I was browsing few selected books, i couldn't help noticing that there are certain books published in 60s some even 50s

the books here are way cheaper than the price in any book shops i guess, the brand new book that i bought is RM25 each. tu pon kawan aku cakap kalau pandai tawar-menawar boleh dapat lagi murah

bagi aku da cukup murah la tu RM25 selalu kalau kat Borders, MPH or Popular selalu RM34.90 or RM32.90, so bg aku dapat 25ringgit tu da murah sgt la kan hehe

i bought these three new books for RM25 each. Best sgt dapat buku Lisa See kat sini..ikutkan hati yg tamak mau aku borong buku Judith McNaught, Jodi Picoult

tu belum lagi buku-buku Melayu lama yang da tak diterbitkan lagi..

yang bestnya aku jumpa buku ni..menarik sangat buku pasal idioms ni, banyak rupanya yang aku tak tau..mana nk dapat buku zaman ni lagi ... seronotnya!!!

tengokla buku ni publish 1964 tau..aku pon tak wujud lagi..ni zaman ejaan 'chi', a' <<<<< comel sangat-sangat kan?

Kali ni berpuasa di Penang! walaupon ada jugak rasa sebak berjauhan dengan keluarga, berjauhan dengan makanan sedap-sedap yang mak masak kat umah (ye memang takde benda lain dalam kepala otak aku selain makan), tapi aku jugak ade sedikit rasa eksaited sebab ni pertama kali aku berpuasa luar kl haha

Nasi Kandar Kampung Melayu

Jumaat minggu lepas geng JJCM aku kat Penang ni pegi ke Kampung Melayu Air Itam untuk try Nasi Kandar kat sini

kedai ni bukak pagi smpai tengah hari, jadi kami bergerak lebih awal dr biasa semata-mata nak makan nasi kandar, daripada review kat blog-blog orang katanya sedap, jadi harus cuba!

masa sampai tu beratur ok orang nak makan nasi kandar pagi-pagi..rupanya ramai jugak yg kebuluq nasi kandar pagi-pagi mcm kami ni hehe

i guess this will be our last JJCM trip before puasa ngeh ngeh..Let us wait for ramadhan, who knows might be another JJCM trip for iftar

Ya Allah makan je pikir amalan tah ke mana T__T

despite their famous nasi kandar they do sell roti canai & family here! The price here i consider cheap! Nasi + kuah campur + bendi + ayam goreng (suku) for RM5.90. Roti Canai is 70cent. YES i ate them both <<< tak payah nak terkejut sgt..UMUM mengetahui aku kuat MAKAN

nasi kandar sini sedap!!! tu yg aku boleh cakap tapi ayam goreng dia aku prefer nasi kandar line clear lagi! ayam dia mak aku goreng lagi sedap! Eh?!

aku ada ternampak jalan-jalan cr makan punye plaque dekat kaunter! team Qi da datang sini! so kedai ni da famous tapi harga & rasa tetap maintain

daripada makan nasi tomato dekat Tajuddin Hussein aku prefer makan kat sini..aku lagi suke stail sini punye masakan

Lebih-lebih lagi cheapskate mcm aku ni kan! memang la suke sangat kalau dapat barang free

tapi kan agak-agak la kalau nak barang free pon jangan la melampau sangat kalau meminta tu

last weekend aku balik KL semata-mata nak gi wedding Dee, ex-jiran dulu smp sekarang masih berhubung :)

lagipun da hampir 2 bulan tak balik KL..so aku memang timing elok-elok balik KL biar aktiviti padat

keja da banyak takkan tak reti bahasa nak balik kerap kan...alamatnye tak siap la keja

reception ni buat kat Taman Rekreasi Bukit Jalil, time ni la pulak kebetulan ade bola Liverpool lawan Harimau Malaya tu..kami gerak dr rumah lepas maghrib, so smpai area Bukit Jalil tu org tgh padat keluar dr stadium

hala pergi takde la jam sangat...gune gps, takde la sesat tapi kan bila da smpai simpang nak masuk ke taman rekreasi tu, gelap je ikut peta mmg taman rekreasi tu setentang dgn AFC

tapi pintu masuk tu gelap, tak confident nak masuk..kami terus je la abes lalu kawsan padat yg org tgh kua stadium tu..

pas pusing balik men tawakal je masuk...nasib betul, haha suspen je tau, trus BBM ngn wawa bgtau pintu masuk taman ni gelap so jgn terlajak...rupanya minah tu pon sama da terlajak & lalu kwasan sesak tu

tapi tersesat pon Alhamdulilah sampai sebelum pengantin sampai

kad jemputan kahwin yg pengantin buat sendiri..gigih kan? lawa je sweet &simple

Semalam Penang cuti sempena pengisytiharan World Heritage tu...tapi aku tetap ke lab jugak sebab ada kerja tertunggak yang perlu disetelkan...tapi takde la aku pergi daripada pagi. Kawan aku ajak lunch kat Swensen Auto City. Dieorang pernah makan kat sini dulu..dok canang kat aku sedap makan kt sini..dessert & ais krim semua sedap

Swensen kat Auto-City ni besar, time aku pergi ni tak ramai sangat orang..jadi tak sesak la..oh dia ade sediakan ruangan untuk budak-budak tak cukup umur main...best la kalau bwk budak-budak kat sini..pilihan ais krim pon banyak.

Jika dibandingkan dengan Haagen Daaz, aku rasa Swensen punya harga lagi murah kot dan ada variety menu pilihan yang lain termasuk pasta, pizza & burger

Each menu come with respective picture jadi mudah nk membayangkan apa yang ko bakal dapat..tak seperti Delicious yang takda gambar langsung kat menu die -__-

one more thing, expect to wait because they serve only fresh food... ko order baru die masak & dia pastikan makanan sampai serentak..takde la kawan ko da nak abis makan, makanan ko tak sampai lagi

my fren ikin order Mega burger..besar burger dia memang bole share la..melainkan ko lapar sangat haha burger dia pon berapa layer aku tak ingat. Ada beef patty, beef bacon, chicken ham with melted cheese dan yang paling best ada telur yg kuning cair tu..nyum sedapnyeeeeeee

yang ni kak kay yang order, chicken baked rice..cheese dia memang terbaik..dan tak muak, tu yang best tu. Aku sarankan kalau korang nak makan kat sini..share la sebab portion die banyak juga.

last sekali kami makan banana crumble..haha yang lawaknye masa die serve tu, mula-mula dia serve banana crumble in hot pan...on top of that ade seketul ais krim..aku ngn kawan aku da macam keciwa..nmpak dalam menu lain yang die bagi ni plain gile

rupanya dia belum tuang lagi caramel & butterscotch cream..sizzling la sebab hot pan kan..die tabur choc chip atas tu & slices of banana..memang sebijik dalam menu

banana crumble ni memang sangat sedap! dalam banyak-banyak yang kami makan semalam, yang ini paling best! memang cukup rasa la semua..memang sedap sangat-sangat

lab aku yang sekarang ni tak ramai budak melayu..daripada 15 orang ade 5 orang je melayu..4 students seorang RO..yang lain chinese & international students. Dalam 15orang dalam lab ni..3 orang je peremuan termasuk la aku..one of them my indonesion fren yang sangat la kelakar.

bukan la kelakar macam pelawak tu..tapi the way she communicate with me..gaya dia bercerita memang kelakar..at least bagi aku kelakar la

walaupon Indonesia tu dekat ngn kita tapi kan bahasa dieorang banyak jugak tau yang lain dari kita..sometimes aku berkerut jugk la nk paham ape die cakap

yang lawaknya bila ada perkataan yang aku rasa kawan aku ni patut translate tapi dia tak translate..benda yang aku paham yang tu dia translate. Contoh la kan masa tengah bincang pasal research kami ni,

situasi 1:

kawan: ternyata kan memang berbeda citra asli dengan yang ini..jika di lihat dari histogram nya saja sudah nyata berbeda citranya..kan eisha kan??

aku: eh citra tu apa? tak paham la ape awak cakap??

kawan: oh hahaha ingat kan kamu faham..citra tu image la haha

life is crazy for the past few weeks...too many things to be accomplished within short period of time

bila tengah serabut..orang tanya khabar pon aku rasa nk marah..haihhh unsabar sungguh

lagi-lagi pulak orang yang dok tanya macam-macam, mintak itu ini tapi sume untuk kepentingan sendiri!! memang aku rasa nak menaga je tau!!

di tambah pulak bangun-bangun pagi menerima berita sedey dari supervisor ku...tapi die rileks jer..siap tenangkan aku, cakap ni semua dugaan..haihhh

kagum aku ngn org yang cool ni...tak macam aku yang asyik menggelabah tak tentu hala..kesabaran memang nipis

bila serabut macam ni..mula la kepala migrain pastu makan mcm setan! gila punya banyak!! haihh

Seoul Garden, Gurney Plaza

Alhamdulilah last tuesday our JJCM (jalang-jalang cari makan) group went to Gurney Plaza for Seoul Garden session which is fully sponsored by Adnin weehooo!! He's tottaly spent a good time while school break. He works as a teacher at Sarawak..hence no Seoul Garden there and not even any fast food restaurant located nearby his place.

We chose two types of soup, tomyam and abalone soup..i don't have much complain on tom yam soup..it taste good but abalon soup is a bit salty..major turn OFF! baik ambil tomyam je lagi berbaloi! The abalon soup is too plain for me..T__T

we had our lunch for more than 2 hours..we tried almost everything..i alwayz thought im the big eater..but i was wrong..ikin was the champion among us all...i think she really stop eating when everybody said "JOM BALIK!!" she really can eat that much..i even stop a while to take a breath..but i tell u..she didn't even stop and she is soooooo thin...life is unfair rite???

overall i'm such a happy girl...can't wait for our next JJCM trip....(^__^)

i hope i can make a lot of improvement in my research as much as i made for food hunting haha

I wanna share my new current addiction to tv series which is Modern Family. I've been spending time to watch all episodes in seasons 1 & 2 and i could not wait for new season to come!

The Modern Family is all about how three related familes cope with their everyday life. It is 'mockumentary' where all the cast talk/whining to the camera from their own perspective and thus make it more hilarious. They did not over done it..the 'mockumentary' is smoothly slot in between the real conversation between the actors & actress and thus make it more fruitfull and funny in every single way!

what i like about this series is.. the cast is so natural..it look like that's how they are in real life..so natural!

i laughed out loud while watching this series..other than how i met your mother..this show is definitely my favourite

last weekend was pretty hectic for me..two wedding reception to be attend and a visit to my fren house is a must..she uploaded her new twin babies at fb and i cant wait to say hi to them.

first stop was at Dewan Serbaguna Precint 8, Putrajaya, the twin wedding..my collegue at um and her twin sister wedding... the food here was to die for..for a wedding reception i can consider this is over the top

besides nasi minyak, they also have variety of lauk-pauk for nasi putih..and they also served coconut jelly, tapai, cendol and kuih-muih..so do u think i will miss that?? hell no!! hahaha i manage to squeeze room in my tummy to indulge them all haha

the best part of syera's wedding is eating at the same table with my boss at UM hahaha...i couldnt ask for more!! 2 soalan maut yang die tanya: 1) how's ur research?? 2) bile nak kawen??

i tought i get enough pressure while working why u keep on asking questions that i cant answer??? hahahaha

anyhoo i stayed there until 1.30pm and head off to dengkil for my ex-lab mate's reception

since i ate too much at syera's recption..i cant take anymore food! i end up only eat fruit T__T

my ex lab mate, aini is married few months back..but they did the reception a bit late due to the tight schedule

they are PJJ (perkahwinan jarak jauh)..aini works at perlis while her husband work at lumut...so i guess that explain why they have a reception few months after akad nikah

many of you wondering what the hell am i doing staying at hostel at this age?? haha yeahh i kind of asking the same question to myself

since end of last december i started my life back as student..i have to move to penang to further my studies here..jangan nk tanya nape aku tak sambung oversea...nanti aku emo!! huhu (we are not goin to get everything that we want kan??)

without any frens and relatives here...aku dengan selamba made a decision to move and study at penang.

i have zero knowledge bout my current uni here..aku men terjah je cari kat google ade tak asrama for student..at that time aku tak tau mne nk cr rumah sewa since kawasan ni agak terpencil jugak..klu ko org sini ko tau la cmne..to find a house in nibong tebal area??? nothing show up in the internet

so last choice i hav to make a phone call asking for their hostel..ye la kat UM mane la nk layan sgt postgrad nk dok hostel..even undergrad students pon bersepah dok luar!

i wrote a letter to penggawa (a.k.a pengetua) ..sumpah aku menagih simpati in this letter..siap cakap im a new student no relatives and frens here (made it sound pathetic)..really appreciate if i could get a room..haha lantak but it works..i managed to get a room and confirmation from them a week before i move to penang weeee!!

the room charge here is wayyyyy cheaper than UM..it is only RM2.70 per day..so in a month i paid not even RM100 hahaha syorga kan??

this charge include utilities bill and internet in a room ..cheap kan??they provide locker, study table..takde la sampai ade dapur kan??

but the management said that we (postgrad students) need to be relocated to new buildings. this coming july. These buildings are mainly for postgrad students. I can't wait for this coming july..senang hdup..i dun need to share tv with undergrad students..aman hidup!! hahaha

ok i better stop now... i need to write another pathetic letter to ask for a new room at new building..this time i wanna ask for a single room..it is going to be more expensive than my current room..

i just need bigger space! demand kan??

birthday girl yang duduk tu..belah kanan dyna tu nenek su (nenek birthday girl) dan sebelahnye mak birthday girl...birthday cake tak nak kalah..3 tingkat!

budak-budak memang seronok la dekat party ni...ade horse riding, sesi dengan ultraman yang tak cukup tinggi dan last sekali ade pertujukan yg org main api yg boleh masuk api dlm mulut tu! tah hape tah nama dia...tapi time pertunjukan last ni aku da balik...malas aku nk tgg..da ajak mak balik..bengang je mak aku..ye la die tak abes borak lagi dengan nenek su kihkihkih

Menjadi student kembali buat aku rase diri aku sentiasa "di bawah mikroskop"

Org sekeliling memerhati..ramai juga 'tukang nilai' dan 'tukang komen'..aku tak kesah sbb aku tau mmg dunia ni takkan abes untuk dinilai..aku juga suka menilai & menghukum..jadi apa bezanya aku dgn yang lain?

Jadi aku ambil keputusan utk biarkan apa yg org nak tgk apa yg org nak perhati..aku da malas nk fikir..

Kadang-kadang melayan 'tukang nilai' atau 'tukang komen' ni takkan berakhir.. Ye la sape la yg sempurna atas dunia ni

Pernah jugak terfikir apakah batasan untuk melakukan sesuatu..org selalu cakap "buat sehabis baik" soalannya sehabis mana?? Buat apa pon 'tukang nilai' mmg sentiasa ada kan?? Kalau 'tukang nilai' tak sebok-sebok pon diri kita sendiri tak pernah rasa puas

Ada je bende yang kita akan buat dengan harapan dapat melenyapkan rase tak selesa di hati yang sentiasa mengharapkan sesuatu yang 'sempurna'

Soalan yang tak jumpa jawapan "sempurna mana yg aku perlu buat??"

Nak menjadi 'sempurna' bukan saja melibatkan hati dan perasaan sendiri..tapi melibatkan org sekeliling jugak!! Tu la masalah besarnya! Setiap tindakan utk menjadi 'sempurna' akan diiringi dengan persepsi org sekeliling yang akan menilai

Kdg-kdg aku terasa nk jerit kuat-kuat utk jawab "suka hati aku la nk wat cmni!!" Tapi aku tau jawapan 'tak cerdik' tu akan diiringi dengan pergaduhan yg berpanjangan!

Isu yang aku tulis ni banyak nye berlaku kat diri aku sendiri..ade juga kwn-kwn mengadu cerita yang lebih kurang sama..jalan cerita yang berbeza tetapi isinya sama "masih mencari-cari jalan utk men'sempurna'kan apa yg sdg dilakukan"

Jadi 'tukang nilai' dan 'tukang komen' tolong beri saya dan sesiapa yang terlibat masa yang secukupnya

Rainforest Bakery

after discussion with supervisor, frens suugested we go to pulau for bagel hunting haha

it starts when ikin was craving for bagels...thanx to Mr Google made our life more complete :)

we went to Rainforest Bakery at Lebuh Chulia during lunch break..yes we took super long break today (^__^)

This bakery sell organic bread..no MSG no preservative nada..u can buy and enjoy healthy loaf and cakes

i would say the price is reasonable and you get a bun with less than RM2..for organic food ..this can be considered cheap..

i strongly suggest if you want bagel do call them first because that kind of 'hot stuff' here..u can buy sesame or poppy bagels which cost RM1.50 each.You have to pay another RM1.50 if u want to add cream cheese in ur bagels.

the carrot cake & brownies taste sooo good but too bad i didnt buy apple crumble :( sekarang menyesal mesti sedap tu

Life is pretty hectic here.. I'm kind of bz preparing 'stuff' for 3months progress report.

My family will come here, hence no lab work, programming etc next week..

I'm kind of worried with my progress..3months are not that long ..but I guess it's better to hav something rather than nothing rite?

I wish tomorrow will turn out good. I hope with small progress that I made, the project can proceed well..who knows this small progress will be a kickstart for something big?insyaAllah

I gotta go preparing stuff for tomorrow

I fell sick on weekend , to be precise i experienced terrible migrain on saturday. To make it worse i coudnt sleep even tho im tired. Hence i've decided to spent my weekend with pretty lame activity..what a loser?? where else? at my lab.

The lab was crazy during weekdays..labmates were bz doing their stuff and sometimes i have to admit that i kind of scared & jealous looking at their progress....why labmates? why are u so fast??i barely cope with u guyz :(

It's so depressing when u sit all day in front of computer but u ain't make any progress...what am i goin to show to my supervisor?? too busy to think will eventually lead me nowhere >_<

But on weekends the lab went quiet and peacefull. The best moment ever and i manage to finish tiny part of my work yeay Alhamdulilah :) even tho it is nothing much as compared to the real task but it means a lot to beginner like me

I miss kl & my family so much i'm looking forward to next break..cepat la masa berlalu & banyakkan la progress ku!

oh by the way i guess it's spring season in my campus :p heard that some of students took nice photos during 'this season' and plan to send it to salam perantauan haha

p/s: i really miss my family..i mean the big family cousins, atuk, nenek, aunts..oh tak sabar nye nak raya #tetiba

aku ingatkana ku tak ke mana-mana weekend lepas... sejak aku mula baca buku cite "On Gold Mountain" ni ssh btul nk concentrate buat keja kalau kat bilik..kebanyakan masa akan dihabiskan bca buku ni sampai la abes -_-

mmg selalunye weekend aku jarang makan siang..aku bedal je la roti ke biskut ke yg ada kat bilik..sbb malas nak keluar byk kali..so makan sekali sehari je cukup! tapi kak kay msg ajak makan kat sushi king..teringin katanya..ari sabtu tu pulak hujan sepanjang hari..tapi tetap gigih bersiap drive ke Auto-City Juru sbb situ je paling dekat ade sushi king...dari tempat aku kire kena drive kat setgh jam untuk ke Auto-City ni

banyak kan kami berempat makan.. konon malam da tak nak makan haha ye la tu end up makan jugak malam tu haha

ari ahad pulak, aku menemankan ikin ke Kuala Gula..cari pokok kelapa sawit..sebab projek dia nak kena ambil gambar buah sawit tu! jadi gigih cari pokok yang rendah sbb senangkan nk ambil gambar! kalau ada tangga lain la cerita

ladang sawit kat Kuala Gula mmg banyak..nmpak dr jln besar macam rendah je pokonya..tapi bile da masuk kat lorong-lorong kat ladang tu..mak aih tinggi jugak rupenye

last-last jumpa yang rendah kat depan rumah org..tp tuannya takde kot..bg salam tak berjawab..jadi kami ambil je la gambar yg ada walaupon buah sawit nye belum masak sangat

kat sini la kaki aku termasuk dlm tanah jerlus yang lembut ( tah tak reti nak explain haha) sgt abes kotor kasut ku! nasib la kwn aku bwk kasut extra..huhu kalau tak balik pulang kaki ayam la jawabnya

tgk research org rase seronok je xpayah dapatkan ethic clearance! aku kena ke kelantan..hav to sacrifice rat to get the data

mcam kawan aku ni nak kena masuk ke ladang untuk dapatkan data...betul la orang cakap lain research lain cabarannya..

My first experience with KTM Ekspress Sinaran Utara

today i had such a great journey with KTM for the first time

i never use any KTM services despite komuter..of coz im a bit 'jakun' and excited to the max!! haha i cant wait to travel back to north even tho the idea of living far from family is not that interesting -_-

i did applied for kad sahabat to get 40% discount for the ticket hence explain why i chose first class coach this time *wink*

nothing much fancy about the coach...it is just a bit spacious than other coaches i guess! and they gave u free mineral water and kek pisang haha

it took 6 hours from KL Sentral to Parit Buntar which is 1 hour more than the trip by bus

but i seriously think they need to do major renovation on the decoration inside the coach..it seems old! overall i enjoyed using KTM..will definitely use this service more often (^__^)

came back from kelantan last thursday bcoz of my research

by the way i had fun there! thanx to kak yan and nurul for accompanying me and provide such a nice accomodation for me :p

people there were awesome too they helped me a lot and alhamdulilah data collection went well

most important part, the food was yummy hahaha nasi kerabu taste a bit different there! sumpah jauhh lagi sedap dari kat kl

Banyak mende berlaku lately tapi aku malas nk tulis..keja pon banyak nak buat ngn tak nak jek!

Masa cuti CNY satu minggu aku balik KL..gile nikmat..sebut je nak makan ape..sume mak masak..best gle kan dapat mak cam mak aku? Haha

Aku sebut aku teringin makan rending ayam pon mak aku sanggup buat…senang je nk gune ayat pancing “alaaa org lain nye rendang tak sama..kita nk rending yg warne kuning tu pedas! Buat semangkuk pon jadi la”

Tau-tau esok pagi sarapan nasi lemak aym rendang..haha ko ade?

mase aku balik kl aku ade makan kat Corus Hotel..makan free kannnn tapiii aku tak tau nape..sume aku rase tak sedap..even mnde basic cm sate pon aku terkulat-kulat telan..tah perencah ape dieorg letak pon aku tak tau

decoration not bad...tapi rase mmg out la..korang layan je la pic yang ade ni ek haha

mase cuti tu jugak..kawan aku bertunang..mula-mula igt tak nak pegi haha last2 pegi la jugakkkk ngn aliaa

sekali bile sampai sana..kawan-kawan yang email ckp nk datang..tak muncul pon! aku ngn aliaa yg diam dr awal ni pulak yg muncul! haihh janji melayu sungguh

tahniah erina & pejat .. makanan super sedap..siap ade bekal bawak balik lagi haha

selain daripada aktiviti di atas..aku jugak berjaya 'melawat kawasan' jugak shopping sket sket.. eh ye ke sikit?

seronok dapat cuti sampai seminggu! now im back to penang! my normal life as student T__T

Semalam, me, ina & mak gi tgk teater muzikal tun mahathir 2..mula-mula aku la teringin nk tgok sbb yg 1st dulu aku termiss..msg ina & mak then trus book tiket..

sesampai je kat kl..umah pon tak jejak lagi me & ina trus ke IB utk collect tiket

ina cakap die amek seat depan sekali..aku bajet depan pon still jauh la dr pelakon kan...sekali ko bila masuk mmg sesungguhnye depan la kalau aku angkat kaki satu panggung sari ley nmpak haha

we arrived there early..aku da serik kena mse teater Antara...dtg lambat...parking punye la jauhh!!

maghrib kat sana..senang! dtg awal ley lepak2 bergambar like no other bussiness!

bawak mak best..beli mcm2 so senang kami nk bergambar ngn artis after the show :)

my review from my point of view:

sape yg tak nak tengok cerita pasal Dr M..he is legend and im sure everyone would love to know about his life..

bg aku teater ni berjaya ceritakan kisah hidup Dr M. kudos to all the team who manage to pull this out together and made it such a beautiful show

dlm byk2 aku mmg kagum ngn esma danial..die boleh bwk watak Dr M ngn baik sgt2..gaya die bercakap da mcm Dr M..gaya die kerut dahi kenyit mata da mcm Dr M

adik aku ni die hard fan misha omar! jadi tumpuan kami mmg ke arah misha omar dr awal...aku ade bce review die paper mne tah (huhu tak igt) katanya misha dan ezani tak serasi..bg aku mereka berdua ok je cume aku rase ezani terlalu berhati-hati..ini dlm pemerhatian aku selaku org awam yg mmg tak tau menau pasal seni teater ni

mungkin ezani nk jaga slang utara hingga menyebabkan die nampak berhati-hati di pentas

cte ni agak meleret di tengah..cthnye masa part interview wartawan ngn Dr M..aku rse boleh dipendekkan..tak perlu lama sgt..& lg elok jika diceritakan tentang kemodenan yg di bawa oleh Dr M..pasal putrajaya, kl tower klcc etc..he such a genius! i tink i would like to knw more about his idea for the country rather than sang a song on the boat/yatch

don't get me worng the songs were all good sampai kami beli cd hehe

AC Mizal dan Sarimah memang berjaya menyelitkan unsur komedi dlm teater ni..aku gelak terbahak-bahak bile part AC..kelakar abes!

overall the show is good but im sure a lot can be improved! kudos to all the cast & crew

sume artis baik-baik & sporting ..terima kasih kerana memberi kami peluang bergambar dengan jayanya

attended wedding reception at puncak alam yesterday.. my ex-neighbour wedding

stuck in traffic jam for more than an hour..dari tak lapar terus rasa lapar sesangat! alhamdulilah the foods were super sedap with a lot of variety that u can choose or in my case..i ate them all haha

a bit different from ordinary..they serve more than nasi briyani..plus laksa, tapai & abc *bliss*

tapai & ABC are served in seperate way..but creativity doesnt stop while i eat..haha so i add the tapai ton top of my ABC and it tastes so yummyyy!!

Ya Allah kenapa la umah org makan sedap-sedap??

nasib baik la teman se-lab ni ajak lunch umah die..katanya husband die nak masakkan...Alhamdulilah..rezeki makan free..tambah pulak takde elektrik kat asrama..mmg seronok je la dapat lari ni hehe

banyak ok si Nurul & husband die Firdaus ni masak...kami setakt datang tolong potong buah je la hehe pastu tlg makan & tlg buat kecoh haha

ramai yg da tau aku da pindah ke utara tanah air..nak sambung belajar! ye tua-tua pun nk belajar lagi >_<

aku da selesai register sume..lain rasanye bile ko bukan lagi staff..lain sgtttt rasanye bila ko hanya la PELAJAR..

mendaftar di pejabat pendaftar di usm ni mmg lain dr um..kalau kat um ko kena register kat ips..hantar x-ray ke klinik kesihatan di klej ke-12..byr yuran kat bendahari (area bangunan canselori)..kalau takde kereta mmg boleh basah ketiak pusing um nk uruskan hal pendaftaran

tapi kat sini sume dalam satu bangunan..mungkin pelajar & staf xramai sangat..jadi mudah..tempat daftar, bendahari, tempat buat kad matrik, pejabat keselamatan utk buat sticker sume dok dalam satu bangunan! heaven!

kat sini dieorg akan amek gmbr ko siap2.. dan kad matrik siap jam-jam tu jugak! gle ar canggih! sumpah aku kagum

aku rase 2-3minggu ni minyak keta aku takde la jimat mana..mmg la tak jam..tapi usm ni boleh tahan besarnye..dan maklumlah org baru..nk balik asrama pon aku sesat lagi haha

oh ye..aku dok asrama ye kwn-kwn..ye mcm budak sekolah tu..ahh nasib da aku tak tau sgt kawasan ni..baik aku dok dalam dr cr umah sewa kat luar sana tu..lagi satu harga asrama die murah RM2.70 sehari! mana nk cari wei??

satu famili anta aku kat sini haha kecuali arina..tu pon sbb dia ade kelas..kalau tak mau sume aku angkut hantar aku kat sini!

18 December 2010 - another good fren of mine is married :)..my ex school mate, to be exact, the reception was held at Dewan Seri Melati, Perbadanan Putrajaya

the wedding is so lovely with rose petals, and the dais is to die for!!! simple & elegant, they used light bulb.. omg it is so gorgeous!!..this is what we called creative & innovative :D

arrived there few minutes before the bride&groom arrived, thanx to Dee, yg pndai pilih tempat betul-betul depan pelamin!! boleh aku tumpang sekaki haha

met my ex-school mates, my ex neighbours haha ...minus the sarcasm of 'a really good fren' the rest of the nite is so enjoyable and lovely.

nothing special bout this weekend except for the wedding reception at putrajaya! im excited & cant wait to meet her!

aku da start cuti tapiiii aku still kena dtg um gak beberapa hari utk settle kan kerja yang tak pernah nk surut!! next week will be my last department meeting this year..takziah to my fren, syera yg tbe2 kena ganti tugasku muahahaha

so if u ask if im ready to move?? hell no!! da pack brg ke belum? err kalau longgok brg kat satu tempat dikira packing tak?? haha

byk sgt mnde yg kena settle kan lately..hopefully i can get thru this period..seriously i wish i can be superwoman who manage to do everything and still able to smile!

Volunteer work??

i've been involved with so called volunteer with IEEE organization..of coz!! that is not want i want in a 1st place but as usual that's what i did for the past few weeks

additional job despite my work routine had 'killed' me!! and i can't complain tho!

less than a month i'll move outside KL but workload do no show any sign to be reduced! ~sigh

and to make it worse me & ogy have to do job that we are not supposed to do in a 1st place!!!

screw u who bullied us!! one day u'll experience same thing like us!

organizing a conference obviously is not an easy job!! but with proper planning and clear vision im sure this will work sucessfully

conference bags (inside the bag: pen, program book, flyers, cd)!!many thanx to u!! can't sleep because of u!

ogy busy giving instruction to KL Premium for gifts to keynote speakers

bought almost 12 karipap to bring back home muahhaha karipap die sedap gle ok!! baik korang cuba!!

hahaha too much of intro i guess..sbnrnya nak cerita nice restaurant that we had our lunch yesterday

we had our lunch at Ma'Cik Briyani..the place is located at Level 1 Western Courtyard The Curve.

the interior deco is nice but i think the restaurant is quite 'isolated' from the rest of the restaurant at ground floor.

untuk hari pertama (sabtu).. majlis nikah di masjid..diikuti dengan tahlil di rumah pengantin

eh takde pon kan kenduri kawen makan nasi ayam?? aku suke je makan nasi ayam ni..mudah tak byk lauk hehe

got a chance to attend a beautiful wedding at felda villa, jalan semarak..accompanied oggy to this wedding

the moment i entered the villa, i'm amazed with the dais full with fresh flowers..including bunga pahar..u can't find any artificial flower.. gila kaya kan??

the weather is a bit sunny on that day..bunga pahar tu pon cpt la layu nye...i tink if they hav it at air-conditioned room will be okay

the foods are to die for!!

lack of updates, i felt a lil bit awkward writing here because i realized some of the family members read all craps that i wrote here

so bajet bahasa perlu la sopan..but i guess it is tooooo way far from my own personality

i would like to share something happened to me last week..

ex-student which graduated this year, drop by at my lab and gave a nasty comment!!..this is the "shit" that 'this person' gave me:

the person: "akak bile nk kua dr sini?da berlumut da saya tgk akak kat sini!!"

to those who do not know, im working & studying at the same time here for the past two years

and currently im waiting for my convocation (which is next year)..and of coz aku naik hantu bile dgr budak ni komen sesuka ati macam ni

FYI bdk ni penah bg komen lebih krg mcm ni mse aku tgh struggle wat thesis aku, da la ko tak menyokong..mulut serius mcm @#$%^^%

helo??come on la u dunno what we've been thru..how hard we struggle between life!!so fcuk up urself with that nasty comment!! it won't help!!

can't expect anything when u involved in research life..u'll make mistakes almost everyday to eventually met the rite one..it's hard but it's priceless..more precious than ur stupid scroll bloody moron!

ahad lepas sepatutnya ada 'tugas rasmi' untuk bawak mat saleh pelawat ni berjalan-jalan sekitar KL..he requested to go to bird park..ok la layan kan aje lagipun aini & oggy will tag along so gi je la kan.

kami siap book buffet ramadhan sbb sng la bwk mat saleh ni gi buffet sume makanan melayu ada kan..so can introduce to him bout Malaysia thru food hehe

tapi last minit die called ckp sakit perut tak bole bangun..aku da sampai um kot time die call tu..

malas nk buat keja lain, aku n oggy gi gardens mid valey tgk the last airbender...wahh siap tgk muvie bagai kan..pas muvie baru la gerak ke pwtc nk gi buffet ramadhan :)

aku baru tau parking kat pwtc tu only RM3.50 per entry after 6pm..aku rse murah la nak banding kan ngn the mall.

last year pon aku makan kat sini utuk buffet ramadhan..this year da naik RM63.50 per person tapi macam-macam makanan ado!! dieorg gne konsep gerai, ada roti jala, roti canai, capati, ikan bakar, nasi impit, rendang, ulam-ulaman, lauk pauk, dessert, pasta n macam-macam lagi..sgt berbaloi dtg mkn kat sini..aku rase tempat lain lagi mahal kot :p

This is what i do once i enter the working area every morning

since i hav to do 'almost everything'... a 'to do' list is a MUST...couldn't start my work without it

and sometimes when something urgent need to be done..i used 'post-it'

even though it seems that everything is planned earlier..there are a lot of cases unpredictable things occured...and to make it worse sumtimes..i really forget to write it down

recently i read a book " The mindful leader"..it clearly stated that, to be a good leader, u must learn to sit properly and think!!! that's what im still lack off..nowadays it seems very hard to sit still without any interruption..thus will result on forgetting important things to be done ~sigh

since u guyz know that i luvvvvvvvvv to eat...here goes another entry bout food :)

went to this cozy place at tropicana city mall a week ago..otak-otak place, located at 2nd floor (if i not mistaken hehe)

i luv this place bcoz it brings back sweet memories when i was super duper young -_-

they sold ding dang, tora and other jajan stuff that i used to adore many years back

tapi bukan nk cite sal jajan-jajan ni..i ate roti jala, and the taste is so good..macam mak buat kat umah and also prawn dumpling as starter

yang bestnye..duduk sekejap order da sampai..and they have plenty of staffs that can accommodate hungry people like me haha

overall, i like this place, definitely will come here again..maybe during long break on friday :p

oh im quite full at that time..so i still havent try the otak-otak..that's main reason why i need to make a 2nd visit there :p

weekend lepas plan nk buat keja tapi sume pon tak jadi huhu last2 shopping kat ikea & the curve

aku makan at bumbu desa..kedai makanan indonesia..sedap-sedap la makanan kat sini, pilihan lauk pon banyak..aku rase harga dia lagi murah la dari ayam penyet

aku cr gak kot2 ade ayam penyet, tapi kedai ni takde la aym penyet, yg bestnye kedai ni ade jual saambal ijo..aku mule makan sambal ijo ni mse gi indon dulu..trus jatuh cinta haha

yg ni paling sedap..aku siap tapau bawak balik

kedai ni memang indon abes la dari deco, food, pekerja sume mmg dari indon...& they are polite

pas makan ke MPH pulak..sume pon gile nk beli buku..aku xde nafsu sbb kat umah ade 5 buku xbaca-baca

so lepak saja kat MPH sambil foot massage...mmg terbaek la MPH kat sini..duduk berjam menunggu pon aku sanggup :p

last week was super hectic week for me, i hav a lot to be done with short period of time..i've attended a conference at Holday Inn, Melaka..this is my 7th conference papers..and i dunno how many i shud submit to please 'them'

except for 2 days away from work, i couldnt help felt annoyed bile kena pakse wat paper n gi conference sorang..stakat kat mesia ni..da bosan oversea takpe gak..wahh demand

kim salam je la aku nk gi cnference kat oversea..penat2 wat pon org lain gak yg gi nanti..baik hentikan berangan!!

i brought along my family to accompany me, it's ok la i hav to pay extra a bit in order for me not to be lonely haha

i booked the room a few weeks before, and the room rate is reasonable for 4 persons, i chose a room that consist of 1 queen bed and 2 single bed, ok la tu kan harga die lagi murah compare to a room with 2 queen bed

hahaha sekali masuk die bagi double decker ko!!!! huh serius macam adik-beradik, aku & ina kena tdo kat sini hahahahaha

weekend yang lepas balik kuantan..ade undangan perkahwinan Hazliana & Taufiq..mmg kena dtg la sbb umah die lain lorong je dr umah nenek aku

balik ngn mak & ina..sbb ayh & abg balik sabak bernam cousin belah sana kawen gak...lantak sape suh jemput last minit, aku da ade program lain haha

as usual kua ngn cousinz..aku da sound dieorg awal2 aku blk kuantan weekend..baik free kan diri sbb lame da plan nk karaoke asyik xjadi je..mencik ok!!
